Imagination Texas Special Weekend for Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Imagination Fort Worth has provided deaf educators and students this one-of-a-kind experience for over 35 years! Don’t miss this two-day, fun, and art-filled event with hands-on workshops for both high school muggles and wizards who are DHH. Workshops are taught by DHH Artists! (Also a FREE Virtual Option is available if unable to participate in person.)

Cost: $70 per person
Registration: Opens November 1st, 2025 closes March 1st 2026
Registration for each participant and includes:

  • Imagination Texas 2026 Award Winning Design T-Shirt
  • Six Hands-on Workshops taught by Deaf Artists (including a STEM workshop)
  • Boxed lunch on Friday afternoon
  • “Build Your Own Taco” on Friday night

    Dinner will be a buffet-style, taco bar with both beef and chicken tacos, and a taco salad bar for vegetarians from Alonti.

Sid Richardson Museum Opportunity-Thursday, April 9th

  • Museum DHH Drop-In Day
    The Sid Richardson Museum has offered to have a special Deaf/Hard of Hearing Drop-In Day on Thursday, April 9th for those who are traveling in from out of town. This amazing museum will have interpreters and a hands-on studio activity for students as well as a tour of the museum. More information to come with instructions to sign up for this extra event.
